PvP Skills & Techniques!


So its official, i suck LOL. So i was thinking maybe I should make a thread were people can post skills and techniques therefore people like me can also improve and give ya guys a much better challenge. Im sure Pope is tired of being on top

Anyway one of my mistakes is trying to go into PvP as I am doing PvE. In PvE i dont hit the block button... there is no need... i pretty much owned everything unless im doing blood mode. Problem is i cant get the timing right and if I just hold it it doesnt seem to work.

Also as a frantz what skills do you guys keep in the top 6... what order do you like them? do you switch these when you pve?

Are most you guys that are in the top ranks... did you guys farm most of your gear first or have been pvp in between... I been trying to get my gear first therefore wasting a lot of time not in pvp... I also be playing a Tude for a while now... today when using my frantz i was a mess... guess bouncing between the two is not so good. xD

Anyway... I will shut up now... xD

I PvPed every single day after losing stam, since lv10 day 1 or so.

Gear is... very important in this imbalanced game. Alas, no choice but to make use of it. Now, as for techniques, lets start on the hard stuff.

Your main and only concern as a Frantz for a while will be to learn to XX>skill instead of XXX. Thats just your first obstacle. It will be hard due to how this game works.

Will give you more advice as questions pop up and whatnot.

thanks pope... you are so right... im still doing the XXX then try to do a skill after... I need to relearn that and try that XX>Skill...

well now that you cant lvl... and your gear is pretty much godly... you are just doing pvp correct? stamina is of no use anymore... so I need to hit the pvp rooms more... but i need to address the gear problem... my tude has 50% gold gear the rest is Blue... for some reason i got really lucky with him and got this stuff from drops... but Frantz has the worse luck... i have a few blue pieces and the rest is crappy green.

One thing I'm having a lot of trouble with is the block button. It doesn't seem to react as fast as I want to. Are you guys having this problem?

Dodge more than block, as a Tude. Skill > dodge is faster for you than skill > block.

Nice topic. I think i need more gear, i've got like lvl 10 gauntlets, lvl 15 armor, lvl 18 boots, lvl 7 earring and lvl 13 ring xD

Aside from that, I dont know WHEN to block. Oh, and I'm gonna QQ about the fact that i CANT reflect the missiles from Tude/Frantz.

I can beat angelas, I can but its more random beat Frantz what i cannot beat as Angela are Tudes.

Any tips/tricks? xd

My char is UberWrath, a lot of you sure saw me suck at pvp in this days xd

Oh, another question... should I use MM? From what I saw its kinda pointless, almost anyone will reflect them xd

I'm not sure what its like in PvP but when I dash cancel it always uses up an AP bar during PvE. Is it a dash cancel or more like a skill animation straight into a dodge instead of a skill animation cut short into a dodge. This is when using Gauntlet Tude by the way.

Also thanks for the advice on the XX > skill , XX > dempsy roll > savage charge always seem to work wonders for my basic bread and butter.

xx > Demp > xx > Upp > Savage > would be a more effective bread.

And I never said dash cancel. That only happens if you double tap to dodge instead of the actual dodge button.
