You can't "Litter the field with them" because you can only place on at a time. Of which has a very long CD. So even if I attempted, by the time Im placing the third one down after a minute or so has passed, the first one is already detonated. Also, my other gadgets are ass, so why bother. Or if you're Tude or Angela, trip them and dodge.

Also, range doesn't mean squat **** if you cant see. Like I said, there is not much you can see off screen. Take DFO for example, where they are able to see the names of people off screen. Making their range more useful. While on here, not only cant you do that, but the other class Rev, which is suppose to have LESS range, has MORE range. Desperado for example.

Desp range is a lot less than gattling already. Its really not that long lol

I meant covers a large field more so than reach. But then again, who the hell uses Gatling from far away off the jump?

Uh, yes you can!

They are timed so that you can have 3 on the field at one time at maximum (if you place one as soon as the cooldown is done). 3 mines is a good deal in 30 seconds. That's 18k damage just waiting to happen. Also remember that blinding is a gadget, and it isn't ass. Sentries are, though.

Des has low range, but fans out. Still, it can be blocked and just guarded. Also easy to punish if they avoid the beginning part (since the first part is VERY narrow).

If they trip the mine, punish them for tripping it. Easier to do on Revs, but you can at least try. Try to hit them before they get there. Hit them when they're done tripping it. Shoot Low is fast enough to screw up people's timing with. I'm just saying, they aren't gonna succeed in evading you EVERY SINGLE TIME, so don't assume they will.

Sure, its possible to get caught by them, but the risk of throwing out a mine which takes 2 seconds to summon, will result in getting combo'd. (okay, minus blinding.)

Fair enough.

I might as well avoid using mine all together. No use using it.

OH NO! You aren't getting away that easy!

You don't HAVE to use mines at point-blank range. As you continually put mines in different spots, the enemy will try to avoid them, pushing them to different parts of the field. The mines can be used to cover you if you mess up (by detonating randomly) or as an offensive tool if you do happen to ground the opponent. No one's saying it's easy, but since Musket's primary weakness is OBVIOUSLY its predictability, you're gonna have to do SOMETHING. These are one of your better options, but of course you're gonna have to learn how to use it in a way that fits the scenario at hand. I normally SeL Tudes that attempt to detonate the mines, and time a Rising Attack on the Angelas. Not as effective as just hitting them with the mine, but it's better than nothing. Also, if they're on the ground, landing a mine on top of them is just as effective (just gotta get to them faster).

Random mines are incredibly good, you can also circle around em during your air rec dash to avoid getting recombo'd.

insta mines work too--if it launches then you can follow up with SeH > windmill for 100% hit-connect.
