# 1 Vouchers

So I'm gunnin' for a curtain weapon that I need to exchange vouchers for, however I am not sure where to find the vouchers or how easy they are to come by.

I have well over 150 hunter's and just over 50 fighter's. I have yet to see any gladiator's or slaughterer's vouchers which is what I need, and for hunter to fighter they seem to be much less likely to ever show up at all.

I'm only guessing that they show up in higher level dungeons, but I'm not sure so I thought I would ask to be sure.

I need a lot of them so a detailed answer would be very helpful on to farm them too.

Thank you.

Yes, they show up in later dungeons.

Personally, I wouldn't shoot too much for them since there are definitely better weapons there.
If anything, I would trade them for the weapon boxes instead.

Vouchers are quite handy as a free source of getting Mithrils for Estel crafts by dismantling weapons obtained from them.

If I am not mistaken, Gladiator vouchers drop around Library 2F up to Conservatory, Slaughterer vouchers drop from Guest Villa/ Collapsed Halls (can't remember) up to Top Secret Facility and Warrior vouchers drop from The Hole onwards. King vouchers at the moment are useless, though if you want to know they drop from Opera House onwards.

................Will be active again, as soon as RH feels smoother again, since it feels extraordinarily slow now.

.................................................. ........IGN (West): SixShot, other IGNs, not telling, good day sir.

Thanks for the replies, I will see when I finally get to that point if I feel it's worth it for the scythe.

It's the golden seal teams albatross that I was going for, I really like what it looks like and the buffs seem really good, if there is a different better scythe I could just get that looks like that one I'll just use it instead.

Either way I will most likely grind like crazy and come across a ton of them at the end, again thanks.

The reason people say go for the boxes is A) They're cheaper, B) The "useless" weapons can be broken down for Mithril, and C) They offer "Unique" class versions of those same weapons with better stats & buffs. Also you will eventually find yourself swimming in vouchers anyway.

One more thing about the Vouchers

Later on the vouchers are useful to speed up the mandatory evolution of the Nepthendes pet to full health. { Via the Weapon Boxes } Which is a required quest from the NPC Castiel. Called "Reap and Sow" in the later half of the church area questline.

If your beyond this point dont worry about it. I just want to save you from the headache of running dungeons over and over to level up said monster much slower than usual.

Farming the vouchers for specific weapons is good if you want to go that route. However I deviated and began using Ruska Craft ( Level 20 ) and Estel ( Level 30 ) Crafted weapons round that time until I outweighed the leveling curve for the monsters then I worked for better gear. ( I.E: Forgotten City Mats )

It's been pretty hard for me to ever come across a scythe in general aside from buying or crafting them, and when I do they might as well just be sharp scrap metal anyway. So what are the chances I will actually get a decent scythe out of those boxes, and about how much better are they than just getting a scythe straight from Elma?

It can give any of the weapons in that "tier", one of each type, so 2 / 16 for a scythe, 1/16 for a Unique scythe.

If you fail to get one, you can still break the useless weapons down and use the mithril to make a Unique "boss soul" scythe that's on-par with the ones you get from Vouchers, so it won't be a total loss. If you get enough Mithril (and get the Soul Pieces), you can even make a set of Boss equips that add bonuses (ex. Hammer Butcher adds 68 physical damage with 2 pieces, and partially ignores defense with all 3 pieces). You've seen people talking about Sandworm? Those equips.

My strategy because weapon gathering is terrible:
Make best weapon from Ruska for my level range. When it gets outclassed, I convert it to the "boss-class" Unique and it carries me 5-10 more levels as I upgrade it. When I can't use it anymore I hold onto it for future alts or friends that may need it for their levelling.

Aren't Ruska/Estel weapons untradeable?

Only if they've been equipped, and it just takes an Ether of Change to reset it and make it tradeable again.

They're "Attribute when Equipped", so Unique Ether of Change works on the Estel ones.
